As a homelessness charity and housing association our clients are at the heart of what we do. We provide a bed and support to more than 2,700 people a night who are either homeless or at risk, and work to end homelessness and rebuild lives.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Islington Ex-Offenders Service for a Project Worker to join the team. The service provides 47 accommodation units across four projects based in Islington offering medium / high support to men with a history of offending behaviour. The client group may also have additional support needs including substance use, mental health or physical health. This role is based out of Huddleston Road.
The successful candidate will have some experience within a similar environment and an understanding of the needs of homeless people, especially those with complex needs. Enthusiasm, a team player, a can do and a non - judgemental approach are essential for the successful post holder.
Flexibility is required as you will work a rota with a mixture of early, middle and late shifts.
