We are looking for an Interim Finance & IT Director to join our dedicated Executive Team and lead the Finance, IT and Information Governance activities within St Peter’s Hospice for a period of 12 months whilst permanent recruitment is considered.
We are looking for a collaborative, values-led leader who ideally has experience in all areas; however please do apply if you have a strong financial leadership and accounting background, as we can be flexible on the range of responsibilities for the right candidate.
Most importantly, the successful candidate will help shape our strategic thinking with strong financial acumen and analytical skills to forecast against changing scenarios and identify risks mitigation strategies. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide technical insight in financial planning and explain complex financial concepts and challenges to a wide range of audiences.
The role reports into the CEO and has three direct reports if undertaking the full range of job role. If you have experience of successfully leading teams, with attention to detail, the ability to take a strategic overview whilst able to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the day to day tasks then please get in touch. A qualified accountant you will preferably have worked in the charity/not for profit sector, however this is not essential.
Due to the interim nature of the role, we are looking for candidate who can start within the next month. First stage interviews will be held on Tuesday 6th July with second stage interviews on Thursday 8th July.
