Job description

St. Rocco's Hospice is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to provide resource resilience across the Finance and Income Generation departments and to review and implement new processes and procedures to streamline recorded income and expenditure. This is a 12 months full time temporary position.

This will include but is not limited to the following: accounts services; financial management information and reporting; annual accounts and year/period end preparation; credit control management; input to purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control of St. Rocco's Hospice and its 2 subsidiaries, ensuring all deadlines are met in line with company policies, procedures and business objectives.

As business partner, you will be responsible for working on financial processes, in collaboration between the finance and the income Generation teams, including shops and lottery. You will be the first point of contact for staff within this department in relation to finance matters and will be required to work closely with the team to best understand the needs of the business. Your normal hours of work are 37.5 hours per week worked over days between Monday to Sunday at days and times notified by your line manager. These hours do not include a ½ hour unpaid meal break which you will be entitled to take if you work a shift lasting longer than 6 hours. You may be required to work additional hours to those published.

Salary: £24,300.00 per annum
