Inpatient Services Clinical Lead
Location: Bosham, West Sussex
Salary: St Wilfrid’s (NHS) Pay Band 8a, starting from £44,697 per annum
Hours: Full Time
An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to lead our Inpatient Services.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with experience and knowledge of caring for patients with a palliative diagnosis. The post holder must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to influence others in the provision of high quality standards of care for patients and their families at all times, through innovative service delivery. This role requires a dynamic, confident nurse who can influence care by demonstrating excellent clinical and motivational skills.
The Inpatient Services Lead will have a key leadership role at a senior level taking responsibility for the overall clinical management of the ward. They will need to have a high degree of professional autonomy and an ability to make critical judgements using expert knowledge, skills and experience in order to provide the highest standard of holistic care including complex symptom management to patients at the end of life. Must have at least 2 years of proven management experience at NHS Band 7 or equivalent and a Masters level degree and/or substantial experience in leading a team.
