Job description

Starlight Children’s Foundation is the national children’s charity that exists to preserve childhood throughout serious illness. We do this through our hospital play & distraction services, wish granting and Starlight Escapes. Access to play during serious illness is especially important as a contributor to successful treatment and healthy development, enabling children to grow and develop and to experience childhood as it should be.

It’s an exciting time to join Starlight as we plan our autumn/winter integrated campaign, launch a new website and develop our brand. With your ability to understand our charitable purpose and find and approach like-minded partners to team up with, you could really help Starlight reach more seriously ill children with our vital services.

Working alongside the Director of Fundraising you will work with teams across the entire charity to help seek connections and opportunities and win new business for Starlight in line with our fundraising strategy and help to create change. You will be a dynamic, creative salesperson, able to combine working independently with the ability to think laterally, and use the Starlight staff and networks to reach out to partners with whom we can strategically align.
