Job description

The purpose of this consultancy is to provide resource mobilisation support for Start Network's five founding hubs in Pakistan, India, the Pacific region, Guatemala and the DRC, as they transition to independence.

Start Network aims to support a locally-led humanitarian system, and has begun putting that into practice by enabling the formation of locally-led hubs. Hubs are collectives of local, national and international changemakers operating in the same country or region. They will control their own resources and define their own responses to crises affecting their communities, united by a shared purpose and common standards, and supported by a global Start Network platform.

The consultant will be led by the hubs to determine their needs, scope relevant funding opportunities, develop tailored action plans and provide practical support for the hubs to take these plans forward.
