This is an exciting new role to lead the evidence and learning activities of the anticipation and risk finance portfolio of the Start Network. You will design and conduct research and evidence activities to measure the performance and impact of risk financing and anticipation, as well as the network itself. It's a great chance to collaborate with more than 50 members across the globe and tap into their knowledge and insights, as well as sharing your own.
You will work closely with colleagues to support and guide the collection of evidence relating to the performance of anticipatory action of humanitarian funds and risk finance. In the longer term, you will be connecting with Hubs to enable them to gather evidence about what works best at the local level. Collaboration and sharing best practice with colleagues in different organisations is a key part of the role. This role will suit someone with who enjoys analysis, presenting research to others and teamwork. You will need skills to move through the entire research and evidence process from hypothesis development, tool design, data analysis to presentation of findings.
