Job description

Who are Stay Brave?

We’re a young charity wanting to take a modern approach to abuse and exploitation prevention. Stay Brave is for all survivors, we work to make sure that any survivor of abuse, regardless of gender or orientation, gets the help they need and respect they deserve.

You’ll be joining Stay Brave at an exciting time as we implement and deliver on new strategy to extend our reach to better serve those we recognise as under-served (men, LGBTQ and sex workers) and affected by abuse and exploitation by bringing their voices and stories to the public.

What’s the purpose of this role?

The purpose of Communications Officer (Stories) is to lead the story gathering at Stay Brave, encouraging those we recognise as under-served and survivors to share their stories of stigma and intimate abuse. We believe that by telling and sharing stories, we will be able to raise vital awareness about stigma and intimate abuse for under-served groups.
