Job description

Help us to support disabled survivors of abuse

Stay Safe East is a leading user-led Disabled People’s Organisation which supports disabled victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence, hate crime and other forms of abuse. Our practice is inclusive and holistic. We are looking for hard-working and knowledgeable advocates who are passionate about helping us promote the rights of disabled people to safety and quality of life.


28 hours per week. £26,917 per annum pro-rata

To support disabled survivors across three East London boroughs

Post currently funded to 31.3.21 by the Home Office via a partnership with Victim Support. This post is open only to disabled women (Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010).

To support our clients in Waltham Forest and Newham to access benefits and entitlements which will improve their quality of life.

Post funded to 31.3.2022 by Trust for London as part of the Strengthening Voices, Realising Rights programme

Both these posts are also open as Trainee positions to disabled candidates (£25,990 per annum pro-rata for 28 hours per week)
