Corporate Partnerships Officer – Fundraising 
Aldershot, Hampshire (office/field based, with regular travel to meet supporters) 

About Us 

We are Step by Step (SbS), a charity dedicated to supporting local young people who are going through hard times, including homelessness. Founded in 1987, we provide accommodation, personal development opportunities and specialist support services to help young people identify and fulfil their aspirations. 

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Corporate Partnerships Officer to support our fundraising activities.

Your Role 

As a Corporate Partnerships Officer, you will be tasked with maximising fundraising efforts from corporate partners to support our work. 

Identifying and securing new business and fundraising streams, you will account manage existing partnerships, develop fundraising plans and ideas and get involved in marketing and promotion activities. 

Additionally, your role will include: 

- Working as part of our dedicated fundraising team 
- Creatively designing inspiring calls to action for new and existing corporate supporters 
- Matching partners’ needs with ours to create outstanding mutually beneficial partnerships 
- Increasing donations 
- Researching potential corporate supporters 
- Developing and growing the corporate supporter base 
- Representing the charity through presentations and face to face meetings 

About You 

To be considered as a Corporate Partnerships Officer, you will need a full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle as well as at least one of the following: 

- Previous account management and relationship building experience 
- Experience of managing income from corporate contacts, whether fundraising or commercial 

Experience of corporate fundraising would be highly beneficial to your application, however this is by no means essential. 

This role would be perfect for those with experience as an Account Manager, Corporate Business Development Manager, BDM, Key Account Manager, National Account Manager, or Account Development Manager. 

Other organisations may call this role Corporate Fundraising Manager, Fundraising Manager, Area Fundraising Manager, Charitable Income Manager, Fundraising Campaign Manager, Corporate Fundraising Manager, or Fundraising Relationship Manager.
