Operations Manager: we have an opportunity for a highly motivated and talented individual to join us at senior manager level in a key role. Step Together Volunteering supports some of the most socially isolated and vulnerable people in England and Scotland. Using volunteering as an intervention, teamed with intensive 1-1 mentoring support, we enable our clients to develop the personal and practical skills needed to overcome the barriers they face. We support our clients to achieve positive outcomes and build a brighter future for themselves.
We have an exciting opportunity to join us as Operations Manager, and we are looking for someone with the passion, commitment and skills to complement our team. You should be highly motivated and have a demonstrable track record of effective line management of staff. Experience of managing staff remotely would be advantageous as our team of client-facing staff are home-based and spread throughout England and Scotland.
This is a key role, working closely with and supporting the CEO. You should be comfortable managing a varied workload and be able to work effectively under pressure. Knowledge of best practice in case management is essential, as is a solutions-focused approach and the ability to operate at a senior level. You should be comfortable using case management systems to record client informaiton and capture evidence of outcomes and impact. As appropriate for a role of this level, you should be able to work with minimal supervision and be comfortable prioritising your own workload.
The role would be well suited to someone dedicated to making a positive difference to clients and keen to be involved in operational plans and organisational strategy. The post-holder will have the opportunity to influence how the organisation develops over the next few years, and work alongside the CEO and Board of Trustees.
