Account Manager - £35,000 - £36,000 - London

THE COMPANY

Our client works with a raft of great charities such as Guide Dogs, WAP, Cat's Protection, Plan UK, UNICEF, Sightsavers, Alzheimer's Research, Marie Curie. They are direct marketing fundraisers who help NGOs acquire new donors through direct response television, film and radio. They also run campaigns that inspire current donors to continue to keep on giving.

THE ROLE

As a key member of the client service team, you'll be helping to manage day to day communication with a range of lovely clients so it's important that you're great at building and maintaining relationships. Internally, you'll be facilitating strong relationships across every area of the agency including creative, media and donor call centres - across various offices and time zones. This exciting and varied role will see you:
- research, prepare and deliver inspiring creative briefs
- be the lynchpin between clients and creative teams to drive client briefs from initial concept through to campaign delivery and evaluation
- managing partner briefings, communication, and management
- taking ownership of performance data: media, phone response, online, conversions
- organise, prepare, and manage status, planning, campaign performance meetings


YOU

The successful Account Manager will be/have:
- demonstrable experience of running direct marketing (DM) campaigns from start to finish
- ideally agency experience but our client is open to in house candidates as long as you have experience of DM - especially if that experience is from the charity sector
- a solid understanding of the world of fundraising is an advantage
- experience of tv, radio, film and digital advertising - and of course DRTV -is very welcome
- ideally B2c but our client is open to B2c if you can demonstrate solid experience in DM (so we'd welcome applications from membership and/or subscription candidates)
- creative and production: TV ads and digital film are our client's core outputs so the ability to brief and develop great creative film is important
- excellent communication and leadership skills to influence people internally and externally. You'll need to be flexible and able to calmly and kindly deal with a multitude of people, personalities, and priorities.
- project management skills: efficient, organised, articulate and team minded
- able to juggle - not literally of course: think ahead, plan head and meet multiple deadlines, providing regular financial reports & updates
- numbers driven and able to look at campaign data and use the insight to inform future planning
