Are you motivated to help others? Do you enjoy problem-solving? Can you keep calm under pressure?
Support Through Court is an independent charity which provides much-needed practical and emotional support to people dealing with the court process without the benefit of legal representation. Most are frightened of, and unfamiliar with, the courts and may be facing serious issues that could affect their children and relationships, or their finances, or the roof over their head.
This highly-regarded, energetic and friendly charity, is now looking to recruit an Assistant Manager to help run our service in the Birmingham Civil and Family Justice Centre.
Working with the Service Manager you will lead on the administrative systems and tasks, and help with recruiting, training and supporting volunteers, facilitating day-to-day operations, contributing to ambitious fundraising targets and helping with absence cover at other sites.
You will be an excellent communicator, practical, well organised and hardworking, preferably with experience in the voluntary sector and some knowledge of legal procedures. You'll be ready to support other Support Through Court services on occasion, as well as taking responsibility for day-to-day operations where you're based.
For an informal conversation about the role please contact Charlotte at the Birmingham office.
Applicants should apply with a CV and a covering letter explaining persuasively why we should offer you the post. It is important that your letter provides evidence of the criteria detailed in the person specification.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
