1st Line IT Support Technician
£21,947 (pro rata) per annum (Ref: SUS2799)
Up to 37.5 hours per week - based in central Bristol
Do you want a chance to develop your skills and work your way up to 2nd line or beyond? We now have a fantastic opportunity to join a small, friendly team in the heart of Bristol, working for a values driven organisation of passionate people. Whilst the focus is on offering great customer-focussed first line IT support to 650 staff across the UK over the phone and email, there are also opportunities to get exposure to Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server, VMware and Veeam Backup & Recovery.
This role will play a key part in the continued support of our information systems, by providing high quality first-line support to our staff. You will have previous experience in a similar role having worked with at least MS Windows 7 in domain networked environment and have used IT ticket based systems previously. With good verbal and written communication skills and excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills, you will have good time management and prioritisation abilities and a knowledge of IT laptop and desktop hardware. A commitment to the ideals of sustainable transport would be an advantage.
