2nd Line IT Support Technician
£24,446 per annum
37.5 hours per week – 12 month contract - based in central Bristol
Looking for a chance to develop your skills and work on a variety of IT projects? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join a small, friendly team in the heart of Bristol, working for a values-driven charity full of passionate people. Offering great 2nd line IT support to 650 staff across the UK by phone and email or in person, there will also be opportunities to develop skills in Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server, VMware and Veeam Backup & Recovery.
You will need to have previous experience of working in at least a 1st line IT support role, be used to time-management and the swift completion of support tickets and have excellent problem analysis and solving skills. You will also need good prioritisation skills and the ability to progress IT projects in an efficient manner. With excellent communications and interpersonal skills, you will have experience supporting Microsoft Windows 7/10 and Active Directory, along with experience of installing and configuring applications like MS Office. Exposure to Windows Server 2008/2013/2016 administration and associated networking technologies would be an advantage, as would a commitment to the promotion of sustainable transport.
