Active Travel Officer, Cornwall

£24,938 per annum pro rata

18.75 hours per week – Fixed Term until July 2023 (with possibility of extension)

About the Role

We have an excellent opportunity for you to use your passion for sustainable travel at work as one of our Active Travel Officers!

You’ll help us to promote public transport as a form of active and sustainable travel to people travelling to work, school, college and university across Cornwall.

Developing an understanding of the diverse range of people within the project areas, you will engage communities in fun, informative activities, sharing resources and working with them to create healthy, independent journeys.

         

About You

We are looking for an individual with experience of working with children and young people, as well as workplace or community engagement, who has experience of delivering active travel initiatives, public transport initiatives, physical activity or other behaviour change projects.

So if you have the ability to enthuse and motivate others and are committed to the promotion of sustainable transport, this could be the role for you!

Clearance by the appropriate enhanced DBS Disclosure check is mandatory for this role.
