Job description

Delivery Co-ordinator, England South

£27,528 pro rata per annum (Ref:  SUS3024)

22.5 hours per week – 12 month contract – home based

Regular travel to Reading and/or Bristol, focused on Southampton and the wider Solent area

 

This exciting role will assist in the management and delivery of behaviour change and community engagement projects, including managing project teams and helping to develop new business opportunities and services, with the objectives of over-coming any identified barriers to active and sustainable modes of travel.

 

With significant experience of delivering projects with a range of partners and effective planning and project management skills, you will have an awareness of the potential to develop programmes and resources around engagement in behaviour change. An excellent communicator, you will be able to work to deadlines within an established project framework and have experience of leading a team.  You will bring a good understanding of cycling and walking infrastructure and best practice standards, knowledge of sustainable transport policy both locally and nationally and be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
