About the Role
We now have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team and support us with our vision to make cities and towns more liveable for everyone – places that connect us to each other and what we need, and where everyone can thrive without having to use a car.
Working in Staffordshire to raise levels of ambition for better walking and cycling environments, you will help Sustrans to deliver one of our key strategic objectives by advocating for change to enable active travel infrastructure to be understood and supported by the community. Your work will inspire community groups, campaign organisations, local businesses and councils to make the case for change and to amplify seldom heard voices.
Clearance by and Enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this role.
We are looking for a creative and innovative individual with experience of working with community groups and/or organisations and have knowledge of the workings of local councils.
You will understand the challenges that communities and individuals face in moving around their town or city healthily.
You will be a well-organised self-starter and have experience of motivating and engaging a range of audiences through events or workshops.
