Project Coordinator, Bike Life, Scotland
£27,255 per annum
37.5 hours per week – initial fixed term contract to 30 June 2020
based in Edinburgh
We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead on the successful planning, implementation and delivery of the Bike Life Scotland project. This exciting project, delivered in partnership with Scotland’s local authorities and as part of the UK wide Bike Life project, is a robust assessment of city cycling development. Integrated with Sustrans Scotland other programmes, Bike Life Scotland aims to maximise the impact of urban focused work.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of project management and partnership working. Your excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential as is your ability to source and write engaging content. You will have knowledge of Scottish Government policies and the context for active travel in Scotland and you will have a good understanding of the important of research led evidence to support behaviour change. You will be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
Closing date for the receipt of completed applications is 9am on Monday 25 November 2019. Interviews will take place in Edinburgh week commencing Monday 2 December 2019.
