Project Officer, Way to Work, Scotland

£24,446 per annum

37.5 hours per week – contract to 1 July 2020 - based in Edinburgh

This exciting and challenging role is to promote active travel for every day journeys through the delivery of the Way to Work, Scotland project. The role will bring together active travel delivery partners and workplaces providing tools, support and inspiration to develop approaches aimed at getting more people walking and cycling to and from their place of work. 

With a good standard of education and experience of delivering physical activity or behaviour change projects and of organising group activities, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent presentation and organisational skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others.  The ability to develop productive working relationships and experience of working with websites and planning small events is also required as is IT literacy.  You will also be committed to the promotion is sustainable transport.
