Swim England is the national governing body for swimming in England. We ensure that people learn how to swim, enjoy the water, and compete in our sports of swimming, diving, water polo and synchronised swimming.
Do you have proven experience of developing highly successfully consumer membership programmes? Do you want a new career challenge that will make a positive difference to the nation?
We are seeking a commercially astute individual to develop a sector leading membership programme that engages swimming’s huge participation base. We already have 190,000 members in our clubs but with 14 million people swimming and 1.2 million children on Swim England’s renowned Learn to Swim programme, we are determined to grow this number significantly.
Increasing our membership will enable us to engage with this huge participation base and is a central component in achieving our vision of “a nation swimming”. As an organisation which has recently achieved charitable status, income received from our ambitious plans will enable us to expand our programmes and ensure that every child learns to swim, every community has access to water and every medal achieved inspires the nation.
Whilst we have developed early thinking on our approach to a new membership strategy, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us at the start of this journey and make a mark on the organisation and the aquatic sports.
- You will have previously developed and delivered successful consumer membership programmes from strategy through to delivery.
- Experienced in preparing business cases for change and are able to bring stakeholders along on the journey. You are creative and a self-starter.
- You have the ability to quickly assimilate and analyse data and use it to continually develop products once launched.
- You take a commercial approach ensuring return on investment for all resources.
