Job description

At Talkback our Employability solutions are based on over 20 years’ experience. Our vision is to ‘Work alongside autistic people and people with a learning disability to embrace new opportunities, lead fulfilling lives, and discover a world of possibilities.’

Our dedicated team of Employability Job Coaches play a vital part of that vision and are responsible for planning and delivering creative and engaging interactions. These are delivered through our weekly job clubs and 1:1 offering, enabling our participants to equip themselves with the tools required to enter the world of work.

Talkback are currently recruiting for an:

Employability Job Coach - £23500 - £25000 p.a. (pro rata for part time staff)

Full Time Role (would consider a minimum of 4 days a week) 

No weekend or shift work

We are looking for a forward thinking, creative, and proactive individual, who can use their experience and talents to benefit the lives of autistic people and people with a learning disability. With the aim of securing paid employment of their choice. If you have the passion and desire, we can provide you with the training and support.

As part of this role, you will be expected to work across Buckinghamshire and on occasions, beyond.  

To succeed you will be able to work as part of a team as well as independently and have a 'can do' attitude. You will need to have good communication skills, time management, as well as a genuine desire to make a difference to the lives of people with autism and people with a learning disability.

Ideally, you will have at least 2 years’ experience within a Supported Employment environment.
