Job description

Talkback has worked for over 20 years in a person-centred way with over 1000 people who have learning needs and/or autism. We provide people with opportunities for education, life and social skills and employment. We enable them to share a voice and be recognised equally in their community.

Talkback is very successful and has achieved significant growth for a number of years. Our continuous growth and expansion means that we are looking for someone to join our Leadership team.

We are looking to recruit:

Head of Finance: full time (or 4 days a week)

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum

This role will be responsible for safeguarding the financial assets of the charity and support its long term future through effective and responsive controls, reporting and planning. You will support the CEO, Trustees and senior leadership team with timely and insightful forecasting, maintain effective financial control and support the CEO in developing business plans and charitable grant funding requests. 

The role is based in either our Aylesbury or Amersham office but will be expected to travel across the county, visiting our teams in Buckinghamshire.

To succeed you will be able to work both as part of a team and independently, have excellent communication skills, hold a recognised accountancy qualification and have a proven track record.
