Looking for an exciting new Volunteer Coordinator role where you can really have an impact and develop a service?

At Talkback we help people with autism or a learning disability to lead the fulfilling lives that they want and to actively contribute to their local community.

Our organisation began 22 years ago and we deliver a wide range of projects, across Buckinghamshire, to meet the needs of people with a learning disability and/or autism.  Current projects include social & life skills training, sports & wellbeing, men’s and women’s groups, a drama group which puts on regular shows, an upcycling & woodwork enterprise, gardening & allotment groups, work experience and a creative arts group.

As part of our strategy we want to establish an internal  volunteer service that will provide additional help to our Project Workers who support our students and members. The volunteers will work alongside the Project Workers in a wide range of groups and will be able to use their knowledge and skills to help people reach their potential.

Role: Volunteer Coordinator

Salary: £23500 - £24500 pa FTE    Actual salary - £4700 - £4900 pa

Working hours: 1 day per week (can be worked flexibly)

This new role will be remote, with a requirement for you to visit our locations in High Wycombe and Aylesbury, as needed. You will be part of the HR team and will work closely with the Heads of Programme to achieve the best outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with and/or overseeing volunteers. You will have a strong teamworking ethic, excellent communication skills, a sense of accountability and the ability to work flexibly.
