As a Training and Performance Lead, you’ll be working in the Talent and Organisational Development Team, supporting the Customer Service and Customer Operations teams in providing an excellent Customer Experience through training, coaching, and quality assurance.
In this exciting new role, you’ll have a chance to make your mark by establishing a complete training programme within the Customer Service Centre. This will include induction training for new colleagues as well as a robust training programme for existing members of the team.
You’ll also support quality assurance and performance management, ensuring everyone has the best chance of achieving their full potential.
Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our Birmingham Office (B37 7YE).
At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. Increased attendance in the Birmingham Office will be necessary at times for the delivery of training programmes. In additional, this role will involve travel to our London Office approximately once a month.
The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you have experience of designing and delivering training in a customer-centric contact centre environment and the ability to create and deliver engaging training at all levels, with a specific focus on new team members and entry level roles.
With strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, you have excellent Microsoft Office skills (incl. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams). You also have experience of digital content creation (e.g. short videos, infographics, bite-size eLearning modules), or an aptitude to learn on the job.
With understanding and experience of continuous improvement in a contact centre environment, you have excellent attention to detail and experience in data analysis, quality monitoring tools and processes.

Quality Coordinator
We are looking for a professional and passionate individual that can put the quality of life for the people we support at the heart of everything they do.

We are currently looking for two Quality Coordinators to join our national team on a full time fixed term contract for 12 months initially. (We are also recruiting for a 6 month FTC - Please apply for this separately if you would also like to be considered)
The Quality Coordinator will work together collaboratively with the Personal Support operational team to provide guidance and coaching so we can provide safe, reliable and stable services, and use Person Centred Practices that deliver Improved Experiences and Outcomes for people.
Working with a focus on audit and improvement, Health and Safety and Practice your work plan will include undertaking agreed independent reviews and audits against the ‘What Matters Most’* standards and regulatory compliance. You will support the development of the quality and practice skills of managers and support workers using coaching and positive role modelling.
It is a challenging role working across the Quality Directorate and you must be willing to travel nationally and to stay away from home on a regular basis (weekly). You will get support with all areas of the work and an in-depth induction.

Job Overview:
To support the efficient and effective delivery of the Sexual Health Promotion & Community HIV Prevention Service to reduce STI and HIV prevalence, lower transmission rates, lower incidence of late HIV diagnosis and to reduce rates of under-18 conception. To engage with and develop a positive presence in none mainstream settings such as night economy venues and public sex environments, in order that key messages and direct delivery are accessible to specific beneficiary groups. Responsible for developing and maintaining effective blended outreach interventions, collaborative working partnerships with community organisations, community businesses and community champions in order to ensure the target beneficiary groups are benefiting from good sexual and reproductive health education, support and services. To work with a a wide range of target beneficiary groups including (but not limited to…) LGBTQ communities, MSM, Black Africans and other BAME populations, refugees and those with learning difficulties.
