The Global Advocacy Team at Tearfund has a dream in which we tackle the three defining issues of our time - ending extreme poverty, living within the earth's natural limits and tackling inequality. • good at working flexibly and in partnership with others
  • experienced in policy, research and influencing, particularly in the area of plastics, waste and poverty.

You will lead and develop advocacy strategies to influence people in power, including managing research projects and building influencing relationships with policy makers, as well as working with international allies to achieve change and working closely with media and campaigns teams. You will be working as part of a passionate and ambitious team, and will love to pray for change, believing that God can and does do amazing things.

We'd love applications from people who are:

  • passionate about fighting for environmental and social justice as an integral part of your faith
  • comfortable managing research projects and coordinating international advocacy strategies
  • confident influencing and inspiring others and able to hold a portfolio of senior relationships externally
