Job Description

Advocacy is a core part of Teenage Cancer Trust’s purpose and reason to exist. This new role will be vital to ensuring young people with cancer have a voice and their needs are not only heard but acted on and met. The Campaigns Manager will play a significant role in shaping the organisation’s approach to public campaigning. The post holder will coordinate a programme of integrated influencing campaigns, mobilising supporters to influence policy change at a national and local level across the four UK nations.

This role will act as the lynch pin, coordinating integrated policy led campaigns to achieve multiple objectives across influencing, awareness and fundraising. They will understand how campaigning works alongside public affairs as part of an external influencing approach and will coordinate and support activity appropriately.

The role will work closely with key stakeholders including young people affected by cancer, services colleagues and professionals within the NHS to implement campaigns that will positively impact on young people’s lives.
