About the role
This is a great opportunity to make a significant impact on our ability to deliver our services to young people, and to raise awareness of our need. One of four such roles nationally you will be the strategic lead for the Community Fundraising the region. The role will help develop the national Community Fundraising strategy and drive this on a regional level. You will also play a key role as part of the senior leadership of the newly formed Partnerships and Communities team and work collaboratively with other Heads of Community Fundraising, as well as the Head of Partnerships to deliver multi million-pound growth, including significant regional and national Partnerships. The Head of Community Relationships will manage and motivate a team of Relationship Fundraisers across a specified region to grow income and develop opportunities. Leading by example using expert knowledge and insights about community fundraising, understanding the specific regional opportunities and inspiring and upskilling a team of Relationship Managers that enables the charity to draw on all the talents, contacts and opportunities available to Teenage Cancer Trust for the benefit of young people affected by cancer. To be successful you will be a confident leader with experience of leading and inspiring remote Fundraising teams, have a strong track record of developing and implementing strategies that drive multimillion-pound income budgets. You’ll be experienced in leading and embedding change, influencing and engaging senior stakeholders and have experience of collaborating across teams on complex, long-term projects and pieces of work.
