Temporary Internal Communications Assistant
Job DescriptionWe are recruiting for a temporary internal communications assistant for a high profile health charity , you will supporting the maintenance and development of their intranet to a channel that is responsive and engaging.
Provide day-to-day technical support for our online channels, including responding to phone calls and emails from staff, intranet editors and Yammer group owners.
Support our intranet editors to understand how the intranet works, signposting them to supporting materials and guidance.
Collate and proofread content for face to face events such as roadshows, staff conferences and QandAs.
Work with the Internal Communications Officer to monitor our staff suggestion scheme keeping a record of all ideas, feedback and decisions on implementation.
Monitor changes to intranet content, making recommendations to intranet editors and the Internal Communications Officer for improved content and searchability.
Work with the Internal Communications Officer to draft content for corporate areas of the intranet.
Maintain project documentation including producing and transcribing project meeting materials.
Work with the Internal Communications Officer to raise, monitor and resolve issues with our intranet provider.
Proven experience of writing effective communications to different audience groups.
Experience using a Content Management System (CMS) to edit and add content to a website.
Experience using photo and/or video editing software to create content for the web
Experience producing content for the web and social media
Experience of using email marketing software (such as dotmailer)
