Location: Stokenchurch, High Wycombe
Job type: Full Time, (Flexible working considered)
Hours: 37.5 per week Flexible working required around operational shift times, including weekends and bank
Salary: £52,500 to £60,000 per annum plus £2500 on call allowance

About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as the Head of Clinical Services.
You will oversee the clinical operational services, responsible for day to day organisation and management of clinical operations department. Providing clear direction and leadership to all clinical staff, whilst supporting the initiatives of the charity. Taking responsibility to lead the department under the direction of the Director of Operations.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the deployment, supervision and teaching of staff within the clinical area supporting the management team in providing clinical leadership. The role is responsible for development, motivation and performance of all clinical staff, ensuring the achievement of CQC Standards as required for Independent Ambulance Services in the delivery of Pre Hospital Emergency Medicine.
You will be a registered clinician capable of leading a workforce of around 40-50 clinicians specialising in Pre Hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM). The unit consists of one aircraft and up to four critical care response cars.
You will be self-motivated, have extensive leadership experience, will have excellent critical analysis and problem solving. The role is also required to deputise for the Care Quality Commission Registered Manager and therefore must meet the fit and proper persons regulation outlined by the CQC.
