Job description

The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families supports distressed children and their families through innovative therapeutic practice and research, training and promoting awareness of mental health issues. In April 2019, the Centre opened its new Centre of Excellence located in King’s Cross.

The Programme Administrator will be part of the Training and National Programmes team within the Schools Division, which aims to support and improve children and young people’s mental health outcomes through work with and in schools and Further Education colleges and with education professionals. The role will provide administrative support across the training department. The successful applicant will have excellent organisation, administration and communication skills with experience in managing multiple priorities and attention to detail.

The post-holder will provide administration support across the Training and National Programmes team and wider School Division. The role will work across a number of training projects, including the Anna Freud Centre’s Senior Mental Health Lead training. Our training offer is currently delivered remotely, however, the role may also be required to support with future training delivered in-person.

The Centre has moved to a hybrid model of working. From January 2022 staff will be required to attend in person at our offices for up to 40% of their working hours, either at the Anna Freud Centre in King’s Cross, London (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH) or our Northern Hub in Manchester (The Express Building, 9 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester M4 5AD).
