Hours:  Full-time (35 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00)

The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families supports distressed children and their families through innovative therapeutic practice and research, training and promoting awareness of mental health issues. In April 2019, the Centre opened its new Centre of Excellence located in King’s Cross.

The post-holder will work with the Senior Programme Manager in the Family Hubs team to support the Centre with setting up and delivering the Department for Education funded National Centre for Family Hubs. The National Centre will be a virtual resource hub and learning network (supporting by a series of dissemination events) to champion Family Hubs and spread best practice/evidence on integrated family service models to Local Authorities across England.

The Programme Manager will manage a small national team of staff, with direct line management of four Regional Coordinators and five Regional Local Authority Advisors. The Programme Manager will also complete the roles and responsibilities for the Regional Coordinator for London and the South East, including working to engage and consult with a number of Local Authorities in this region to implement Family Hubs in their area.

The post would be suited to a resilient, motivated, organised, creative, adept in managing projects, and developing relationships.

The post-holder will be home-based/remote working during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic; thereafter the Anna Freud Centre, 4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH and occasional travel will be required predominantly within the London area.
