About Us

We’re the Bobath Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy, a charity dedicated to supporting children and families living with cerebral palsy and similar neurological conditions.

Our specialist treatment and training centre offers bespoke support from a team of Physio, Occupational and Speech and Language Therapists who focus almost exclusively on cerebral palsy.

Sometimes, it’s the simple things that make a difference - playing with friends, dressing or making your own lunch. So, whatever a person’s age or associated difficulties, we have the skills and knowledge to help them live their day-to-day life to the fullest.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Operations Co-ordinator to join us and deliver a fantastic service to our customers.

The Role

As an Operations Co-ordinator, you will support customers who are interested in our physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy services.

In this varied role, you will be: 

- Responsible for managing the customer journey, from the first initial point of contact to booking in treatment sessions
- Contacting customers by email, telephone and dealing with all inquiries
- Prospecting, following up leads and referrals into our services
- Liaising with the finance department to request invoices
- Liaising with the clinical team to discuss capacity and demand
- Processing any changes, cancellations and short notice cancellations
- Promoting and marketing our services
- Co-ordinating and liaising with course attendees
- Co-ordinating the printing and delivery of all training materials in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Managing and recording all costs incurred and ensuring each course is within budget
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with course attendees and trainers
- Using a CRM system to keep updated details of our clients and course attendees
- Working with our Operations Manager to develop our IT systems, processes and CRM system to make continual improvements
- Supporting our Operations Manager and senior management team with information regarding our services, including sales information and forecasted demand
- Complying with the requirements of GDPR, Access to Health Records Act and legislation issued in relation to confidential data
- Providing cover in the reception area if required and providing refreshments in the kitchens if required
- Working as a team to assist colleagues in providing cover for work if required

About You 

To join us as an Operations Co-ordinator, you’ll need: 

- Excellent customer care skills, gained by working with customers over the telephone and face to face 
- Strong administration skills 
- At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above in Maths and English
- At least two years’ experience of working in sales or administration
- Knowledge of marketing, sales and fundraising
- Strong IT skills including data-inputting skills, Microsoft Excel and experience of CRM systems
- The ability to empathise with families that have children with disabilities
- A positive attitude and strong team working skills

Previous healthcare experience would be beneficial to your application, but this isn’t essential. Experience of social media and web development would be an advantage.
