The British Museum is currently recruiting for an Administrator to provide support to senior staff and play an integral role in administrative support across the Learning and National Partnerships department, in job-share with another post holder.
In this role you will handle a diverse workload, including the day-to-day management of the department's general and restricted budgets, covering a variety of areas, including use of Agresso, ordering goods, record keeping, payroll submissions and travel arrangements.
The successful candidate will be educated to A-levels, or equivalent, with demonstrable administrative experience including procurement and budget management. You will have experience of using Outlook and interacting directly with visitors.
As a motivated and proactive individual, you will work well as part of a team and will be able to cope well under pressure. With excellent communication skills in all areas, you will have the ability to deal tactfully and professionally with a wide range of people.
