How to apply
We're seeking a new team member to help us improve our member engagement. As the national youth council of the UK, the British Youth Council works with and for our members to ensure that young people's views are sought, heard and acted upon. Our members range from national youth charities such as Girlguiding and The Scouts, through to local youth councils.
We want to improve our member engagement and step up our game in the way that we communicate with and support our members. The post holder will work with colleagues to develop content for our website and newsletters with and for our members, helping to turn up the volume on the amazing things that young people are doing within and across our membership network. They will also develop our CRM, ensuring that accurate record keeping is in pace to ensure effective communication across the team.
There will also be plenty of opportunities to get involved in the wider work of the British Youth Council , supporting the planning and delivery of a range of events and programmes and developing skills and experience in a range of areas.
The British Youth Council is committed to safeguarding and protecting the young poeple that we work with. As such, all posts are subject to a safe recruitment process, including the disclosure of criminal records and vetting checks. We ensure that we have a range of policies and procedures in place which promote safeguarding and safer working across our services.
