Social mobility charity The Brokerage is looking for engaging and enthusiastic freelance workers with a genuine interest in helping young people reach their full potential within the world of work.
The Brokerage works in partnership with employers, volunteers and schools to help young disadvantaged Londoners achieve their career potential. We do this by providing experiences of work, employability skills and jobs in financial, professional and related services. The charity has been building links between employers and the local communities surrounding the financial districts since 1996, and we have placed thousands of young people into paid work with some of the biggest companies in the world.
This position offers the successful candidates the opportunity to work with young people from our partner schools delivering workshop sessions including ‘Working in the City,’ ‘Maths in the City’, and ‘Mock Assessment Centres’.
Each workshop involves visiting one of our corporate partners to deliver a workshop focusing on an aspect of careers in FPRS. Workshops involve a group of approximately 25 young people.
£150 per seven hour day (pro rata for each 5 hour workshop session)
Closing date for applications: Friday 31st May 2019. Please note, applications will be assessed as they are received and The Brokerage reserves the right to interview appropriate candidates before the application deadline.
Interview dates: Week beginning Monday 10th June 2019
Successful candidates will need to be available for a minimum of 12 hours training (paid) between Monday 24th June and Friday 12th July 2019.
Please note shortlisted candidates will only be selected according to their CV and supporting statement in the cover letter.
