The Careers & Enterprise Company
Clerkenwell, Greater London
£25,000 - £32,000 per annum
Permanent, Full-time
Job description

The Careers & Enterprise Company was established in 2015 to help link schools and colleges to employers, in order to increase employer engagement for young people. Our mission is to prepare and inspire young people for the fast-changing world of work.

This is an exciting time at The Careers & Enterprise Company. During our first three years, we have worked with Local Enterprise Partnerships to build a national network which now links 2,000 schools and colleges to employers. We have also funded 150 programmes to provide high-quality employer engagement activities to young people where they are needed most.

Evidence is at the heart of The Careers & Enterprise Company, used to track progress, tell our story and inform the development of policy and practice.

The Evaluation Officer will provide research and evaluation support across a wide range of projects to support the Company’s objectives of building the network, supporting careers leaders and backing the Gatsby benchmarks.

The role involves building expert knowledge of the Company’s data and producing regular reports for stakeholders that are visually appealing and support programme improvement.

The Evaluation Officer has a particular focus on evaluating the progress of the Careers Hubs pilots which now cover one quarter of schools and colleges in England. Following a successful first year of Careers Hubs, there is a need for in-depth analysis to underpin the training and support provided by the Company.

The Evaluation Officer works closely with the Research & Evaluation Manager and Head of Research, Dr Emily Tanner, to deliver evaluations of the Company’s funded careers programmes, stakeholder surveys and other research projects.

Our organisation has a privileged opportunity to make a difference to the lives of millions of young people, helping to inspire and prepare them for the fast-changing world of work, and we want you to help us make it happen.
