The Careers & Enterprise Company
Farringdon, Greater London
£40,000 - £50,000 per year
Permanent, Full-time
Job description

Do you want to be part of a mission-driven team focused on transforming young people’s lives? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

The Careers & Enterprise Company was established in 2015 to help link schools and colleges to employers, in order to increase employer engagement for young people. Our mission is to prepare and inspire young people for the fast-changing world of work.

This is an exciting time at The Careers & Enterprise Company. During our first three years, we have worked with Local Enterprise Partnerships to build a national network which now links 2,000 schools and colleges to employers. We have also funded 150 programmes to provide high-quality employer engagement activities to young people where they are needed most.

The CEC’s diverse product suite helps prepare young people for successful careers, serving to bring employer volunteers into schools, assess the efficacy of existing career programmes and more. Our existing tools are primarily B2B, used by school staff. We are now developing additional B2B tools as well as B2C tools for our other stakeholders.

The Data and Digital Team is looking for an enthusiastic, fast-moving Product Manager to help complete the specifications for this complex set of applications, then see them through the product life cycle. We work on both legacy and greenfield products. Of this, you can be sure: you will never be bored.

Our team is comprised of in-house Product Managers, marketers, developers and data analysts, as well as remote developers, designers and consultants. Thus, the new Product Manager should be excited to scope and specify multiple products and with different team members at the same time.

The right individual for this role will also be able to make decisions using both quantitative and qualitative data at pace. User need and business strategy must be satisfied in the delivery of each product. The Data and Digital Team currently uses Jira/Confluence, Slack, Dropbox, Testrails, Browserstack, Balsamiq, Github, Crazy Egg, Google Analytics, Figma and various other tools to assist in this process.

Our organisation has a privileged opportunity to make a difference to the lives of millions of young people, helping to inspire and prepare them for the fast-changing world of work, and we want you to help us make it happen.
