Talent Attraction Co-ordinator

Fixed term contract until 28 February 2020

35 hours per week (Flexible working is encouraged)

£20,502 per annum

The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 130 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for children, every step of the way.

This role sits within the HR Business Partnering team, within our Finance & Corporate Service Directorate.

We are currently looking for an innovative and motivated experienced recruitment officer to join our ambitious and busy team.

A key part of this role will be your ability to:

-Provide a proactive approach to attracting and recruiting candidates, particularly for front line roles, where there is a requirement to source and appoint suitable candidates in a short period of timeframe,

-Offer a bespoke support service to managers, who are facing challenges in attracting candidates, or creating and managing a pipeline of candidates (talent pool) that are ready and available, when required.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:

-The ability to communication with candidates and stakeholders at all levels to positively showcase The Children's Society as an agile and exciting place to work

-In depth knowledge of recruitment systems and able to navigate for the purpose of candidate communication and engagement

-Experience of managing a talent pool of candidates so that they remain engaged with the organisation.

-The ability to manage workloads and be flexible during particularly busy periods
