This is an exciting time to join The Children’s Society as we strive to change the world for young people during a time where the pandemic has made life even harder for the most disadvantaged children. We provide over 100 local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in need of help.
This role sits within the Systems and Development team and is part of our Technology and Data function . We are looking for a diligent, hard working person with a good eye for detail and a passion for technology and innovation. A key part of this role will be to work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and to configure systems and build solutions to fulfil those needs. As well as to provide support and training to systems users.
In order to be successful in this role, you must have:
- Excellent analytical skills with user centred approach and an understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent IT skills with the ability to use a wide variety of applications and configure Case Management Systems.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to deliver the highest levels of service even in challenging conditions.
Since the onset of Covid19, the Children's Society has operated largely within a remote/hybrid working environment and the successful candidate will need a track record of working within a similar setup.
