Corporate Partnership Manager

1 X Fixed term contract until September 2021

35 hours per week (28/30 hours per week will be considered)

£34,154 - 36,908 per annum / pro rata


Location - flexible (currently working from home)

The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 130 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for children, every step of the way.

This role sits within our ambitious Corporate Engagement team focused on developing transformative shared-purpose partnerships with the commercial sector. Corporate Engagement are part of the High Value Giving at The Children's Society focused on income generation from companies, philanthropists, trusts and institutional funders to help maintain and grow our portfolio of services, which include mental health, substance misuse, children's rights, and disrupting exploitation.

Your role will focus on developing a pipeline of opportunities within key business sectors; building strong relationships with contacts and creating innovative and tailored proposals to make business leaders say 'yes'. On occasion, there will also be a requirement to lead on the partnership management of key partners.

We are currently looking for corporate partnership specialists with a track record in business development to join our dynamic, ambitious team.

A key part of this role will be your ability to work flexibly across the team to develop our partnership portfolio, taking full accountability for a 6-figure annual business development target.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:

-Demonstrable experience in business development

-Experience of account managing charity-company partnerships

-Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation

-Relationship and Stakeholder Management skills
