3 X Data Analysts Safeguarding and Quality Practice (one working specifically with mental health data)

3 Fixed term contracts until December 2022 with likely extensions (open to secondments)

35 hours per week – Part time would be considered

£34,154 per annum (if National), £36,908 if London based.

Flexible location – including working from home

The Children’s Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 130 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We’re there for children, every step of the way.

These roles sit within our Safeguarding and Quality Practice Team and play a pivotal role in ensuring best practice and quality outcomes for children and young people. In this role you will be helping to maintain and develop innovative practice to support our work in our services around the country.

As a result of current team members taking up development opportunities within the organisation, we are currently looking for three data driven people to join our dynamic, ambitious team of analysts. But these roles are not just about producing data, we are looking for people who have the skills and ability to analyse and interpret social statistical data; and then to support others to be confident to access, understand and use data to improve and develop services for children. . In this role there are countless opportunities to be creative, engaging and have a real impact.

[KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES]

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience of monitoring outcomes
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to enthuse others about data
  • The ability to visualise data in a variety of ways
  • For the Mental Health Post, experience in MHSDS and access data would be desirable
