London

These are exciting times at The Children's Society. Now settled in to a vibrant, new office, and with a new CRM system on the way, there is a fantastic opportunity for a Data Services Analyst to join the Data Services Team. This key role will deliver comprehensive data services (data selections, importing, maintenance and training) to teams across the organisation, and provide support as we transition CRMs from Raiser's Edge to MS Dynamics 365.

The Data Services Analyst will develop segmented data selections for a diverse range outbound communications, import data from external data sources, and deliver support and training to users. This will involve working with our Raisers Edge database, SQL-based data warehouse and FastStats.

This is varied role, ideal for a developing data services professional, comprising a mix of scheduled and ad-hoc tasks, innovative data selection work and active collaboration with internal stakeholders. We are fully committed to staff learning and development with an annual training allowance and flexible working patterns (subject to completion of probation period) and 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

If you have a passion for all things data, wish to broaden and develop your skills, and are looking for the next step in your career we would love to hear from you.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

In order to be successful in this role, you must have strong data manipulation skills, the ability to visualise and understand relational data and data flow processes, and a track record of providing excellent data services whilst engaging with internal clients.

Experience of working with relational databases (ideally Raiser's Edge or MS Dynamics 365), reporting/selection tools (such as FastStats) and of data validation and manipulation techniques is particularly important (preferably in a SQL environment).
