Interim (7 months maternity cover)

35 hours per week.

£29,209 per annum (pro rata) with London weighting, or £26,329 outside London.

Location - Home-working/office-based depending on personal circumstances and location in the country (offices will only be accessible once it is safe to do so given the current coronavirus crisis). Our London office is based at Whitecross Studios, Banner Street, London, EC1Y 8ST and we have other offices around the country.

We are currently looking for a creative thinker to join our high achieving, fast-paced and ambitious Media Team.

You'll be working with colleagues across the charity to raise awareness of the issues affecting young people across the country - from mental health to modern slavery. You'll also be working to engage people in our fundraising work to help us reach even more disadvantaged children and young people. This role sits within our Supporter Engagement and Income directorate.

In order to be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:

-A track record of initiating and planning media launches and campaigns.

-The ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally

-Excellent writing and editing skills

-The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

-An excellent understanding of working with the media
