Job Share - Part-Time - 21 hours per week - Wed-Fri
£33,484 per annum / pro rata (plus allowances)
Location: This role is home-based and primarily focussed on working with supporters in the Diocese of Lichfield (Staffordshire & The Black Country), but will also include some work in the dioceses of Chester & Liverpool.

A fantastic job share opportunity has arisen to join The Children's Society, as a relationship manager based within the rather wonderful of diocese of Lichfield (Staffordshire & The Black Country), with travel across Cheshire & Merseyside.
Right now in Britain there are children and young people who feel scared, unloved and unable to cope. The Children's Society works with these young people, step by step, for as long as it takes. We listen. We support. We act.
As a relationship manager you will be implementing our supporter engagement strategy in your patch. You will be developing relationships with existing volunteers as well as recruiting new, working to raise funds for our vital work. Knowledge and experience of working with supporters from The Church of England would be an advantage and a willingness to work with all faith groups is essential. You should be able to demonstrate your enthusiasm as you represent and promote the work vision and purpose of The Children's Society.
To be considered for the role you will ideally come to us with a passion or background in community fundraising and have experience recruiting, managing and motivating volunteers. You should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of achieving both financial and non-financial targets and be able to work on your own initiative.
You will join the highly motivated supporter communities & group's team who sit within our Supporter Impact and Income Directorate and you will play an integral role in helping us connect, inspire and mobilise people and communities across your patch
