This role sits within our children and families directorate, which works to provide immediate one-to-one and group support for children who urgently need support. Your role will be to help us maintain and develop innovative practice to support our work in our services within the Essex area.

We wish to recruit 1 x F/T Project Workers to cover the County of Essex based within Family Solutions in the South/West Quadrants of Essex.

To deliver the work of The Children's Society to children, young people and families around a range of risky behaviours including child sexual exploitation, trafficking, running away, truanting, gangs, risky sexual behaviours, aggressive and challenging behaviours through the use of individual support and group work, thereby ensuring the children and young people and their families live safely and confidently in their communities.

As well as a strong commitment to your development, we offer a generous holiday entitlement, a contributory stakeholder pension, childcare vouchers and flexible working.

The Children's Society runs over 100 local services that help thousands of young people who desperately need our support, and we campaign to get laws and policies changed to make children's lives happier and safer.

Every day we're changing the lives of children in this country for the better - and with your help, tomorrow we can be there for even more.
