Supporter Engagement Officer

35 hours per week

£29,209 per annum

Location: White Cross Studios, 50 Banner Street, London EC1Y 8ST

The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 130 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for children, every step of the way.

We are currently looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic, ambitious and busy Supporter Engagement Team. In this role, you will be project managing the London Marathon and other events supporting individuals who have signed up supporting them to give their time, money and voice to our cause, collectively transforming the lives of vulnerable young people. You will also be line managing one individual so an exciting role for someone who is new or looking to develop line management skills and experience. This role sits within our ambitious Engagement & Income Directorate.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:

-Two years experience working in events and fundraising with relevant event project management experience, preferably including London Marathon

-Relationship Management experience including supporter journeys and stewardship

-Good experience and knowledge of CRMs to manage supporter relationships and report of activity using the CRM

-Experience of using varied platforms and methods to communicate and engage with supporters, including digital platforms

-A desire to line manage and develop individuals
