Supporter Engagement Co-ordinator/Outbound Telephone Calling Co-ordinator

Fixed contract until end of March 2021

35?hours per week

£23,721 per annum

Banner Street, London (5 minutes from Old Street tube).

The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 130 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for children, every step of the way.?

This role sits within our Supporter Impact & Income directorate which works to engage our supporters to the maximum benefit of children and young people, whether that be by giving time, money or voice.

We are currently looking for a?brilliant team player to join our dynamic, ambitious Outbound Calling Telephone team.?This is an amazing opportunity for someone either new to the world of fundraising to gain professional experience, or for someone from a Customer Service or Tele fundraising background looking to grow their skills as part of a friendly team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in stewarding, inspiring and engaging new and long term committed and dedicated supporters of the Children's Society, establishing stronger and more effective relations and maintaining and increasing their level of engagement. In order to be successful in this role, you would ideally have:?

-A commitment to changing the lives of disadvantaged children and young people.

- The ability to influence verbally, inspiring and encouraging supporters.

-? Excellent telephone manner and the ability to handle various types of calls with confidence and enthusiasm.

-Ability to handle complaints in a calm and professional manner, ensuring supporters are listened to and complaints are handled in line with our procedures through to conclusion.

-At least intermediate level of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

-Enjoy working as part of a team and helping people to ensure you contribute towards the team's delivery of exceptional supporter experience.
