Supporter Giving & Engagement Officer

Permanent contract

35 hours per week

£29,209 per annum / pro rata (plus allowances)

The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 130 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for children, every step of the way.

This role sits within our Supporter Giving & Engagement department and works to raise vital funds to provide our services for children and young people. Your role will contribute to the delivery of multi-channel campaigns that are highly personalised and engage supporters in a wide range of activities including fundraising, volunteering, campaigning and spiritual engagement, to increase their life time value (LTV) a supportive supporter experience.

We are currently looking for an experienced fundraiser in direct and digital marketing to join our dynamic, ambitious team.



A key part of this role will be your proven ability to:

-Manage a programme of end to end campaign supporter facing communications, using insights, to budget and time.

-Be a strong communicator with; excellent written and oral skills, attention to detail, write, evaluate and proof-read audience and channel-specific copy, including copy writing to meet a brief.

-Display good numeracy and data analysis skills. Understanding of end-to-end data processes including segmentation, interpret data to spot trends & adjust fundraising activity to build learnings.

-Bring together internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects to meet objectives in a positive and cohesive way and to agreed SLA's.
