The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury and neurodisability. We deliver rehabilitation, education and community services through our national specialist centre and The Children’s Trust School, based in Tadworth. We also offer support more widely through our community services for children and young people across the UK and via our online Brain Injury Hub. Established for over 30 years, we have a team comprising 560 staff and over 1,100 volunteers who together are dedicated to providing children with brain injury and neuro-disability to have the opportunity to live the best life possible.
We recognise that our people and how we develop them is critical to us continuing to grow and progress our charitable and commercial aims, while retaining our outstanding ratings with our regulators. We have therefore created the new role of Head of Organisational Development which will play a key part in leading, scoping and delivering a progressive Organisational Development Agenda. This will ensure we realise the full potential of all of our staff and ultimately enable us to continue to provide support for even more children and young people with brain injury and neuro-disability.
We are looking for a collaborative, proactive and can-do organisational development professional; someone who will work effectively across all key stakeholders within our organisation, working alongside and with others to define, develop and embed our new OD strategy. We expect this will encompass amongst other areas: developing our leadership development programme, our diversity and inclusion approach, a review of our culture and values and supporting the development of our clinical and education teams.
Operating as a key member of the People Team, you will bring a high degree of ambition, resilience, and pragmatism, be comfortable in problem solving and finding solutions, offering constructive challenge and with a proven track record of shaping and delivering impactful OD strategies.
If you would like to discuss the role please contact The Children's Trust directly, and the People Operations Team will be more than happy to assist you.
Closing date - Monday 3rd August 2020.
